K12 schools are the frontline of food conservation education. Increasing access to healthy food in the national school lunch program through healthy choices on the serving line, Farm to School initiatives, share tables, food recovery partnerships, and STEM-based school garden lessons are pivotal to facilitating an ethic of respect for our farmers, fresh/healthy food, and growing healthy children.
