This toolkit was born out of a “Food Waste Week” The Rockefeller Foundation hosted internally to accompany the launch of the YieldWise initiative. The toolkit includes guidance on how companies and individuals can organize their own activities to raise awareness on the issue of food waste and highlight solutions everyone can implement in their homes and offices. Specific examples of activities, tools, tips, and online resources are also included. The hope is that this resource will enable other organizations to more easily run their own food waste day or week, resulting in greater awareness of and action on the issue.
