Alexa Kielty will discuss the creation of San Francisco’s organics recycling program for apartments, and working with non-English speaking communities. Falls Church, Va. has had a residential food waste drop-off program for a number of years, and started up its curbside collection program in 2017, partnering with two local composters to offer these services. Chris McGough will share details on Falls Church’s new program and its innovative methods for keeping costs low.
